Crowe Foreign Services has cultivated an extensive network of professional investigators and attorneys in virtually every foreign country. This provides you with the ability to locate and obtain information on individual and corporate defendants around the world.

Although investigation and “skip tracing” is available, it is costly and time intensive. Most foreign countries have privacy laws that prohibit the existence of personal information databases and there is generally no access to what we consider “public” information (such as DMV records, etc.).

However, our investigators do have the ability to track down a defendant’s location, but it is costly, takes a bit longer and often requires very specific information (such as both of the defendant’s last names for South American defendants, or the original foreign language name of the defendant if from an Asian country, etc.).

Most investigations are initiated with a retainer that is based upon the country where investigation is required and the initial information provided about the defendant.
